At the heart of Harry J Live: Couch Series is Tara Johnson, the creator and lead producer of the series and Managing Director of Harry J Recording Studio. Building on a legacy that spans decades of Jamaican music history, Tara crafted Couch Series as a space where artists could perform honestly and audiences could feel genuinely connected to the music. Her vision extends beyond recording; she creates an environment that nurtures creativity, roots performance in culture, and champions emerging talent while honoring reggae’s heritage.

Behind the warm, dynamic sound of each episode is Keron “KaleX” Alexander, known in the music scene for his work as a producer, songwriter, and creative collaborator. KaleX has produced and composed for major Jamaican acts and helped shape sounds that resonate locally and globally.
